The History of Biltong
Over 400 years ago… Dutch Settlers and African Tribesmen sun dried strips of beef & game during their trek across the African Subcontinent as a means of preserving their food. It allowed them to carry ready-to-eat food with them, resulting in one of the earliest “convenience” foods on record.
